About Us

The Oklahoma Council for Exceptional Children is a state Unit of the Council for Exceptional Children, and part of the international community of educators who are the voice and vision of special and gifted education. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with exceptionalities and their families through professional excellence and advocacy.

Currently inactive, the Oklahoma CEC Unit is searching for motivated volunteers leaders to fill the positions on the Board of Directors to revitalize the Unit for Oklahoman special education professionals.
